(By Intern Lin Qiaochu, Zhang Dongfang) 。（新加坡讯）新加坡一项研究显示，家庭主妇和退休人士比起有工作的年长者，患有失智症的机率可高出9倍到11倍，离婚与学历低者较可能出现忧郁症。新加坡心理健康学院昨午公布最新的年长者身心健康研究（WiSE）结果。研究从2022年3月进行至去年9月，2010名60岁或以上年长者接受访问。这是该学院第二度展开这项针对年长者失智症和忧郁症盛行率的研究，上一轮WiSE研究于2013年展开。研究显示，新加坡年长者失智症盛行率过去10年有所下降，从2013年的10%下降至2023年的8.8%。不过，患有失智症的年长者从2013年的5万1934年增至去年7万3918年，主要因为年长人口在此期间增长。新加坡过去10年的年长人口的就业率和教育程度提高，以及中风率下降（中风者失智风险较高），加上新加坡人在这方面意识提高等，这些都是让年长者失智症患病率下降的关键原因。根据报告，年龄介于75岁至84岁的年长者，以及85岁以上年长者，失智症盛行率比起年龄介于60岁至74岁分别高出3.1和11.2倍。此外，退休人士比起还在就业中的年长者的失智症患病率高出11.3倍，家庭主妇的患病率则比后者高出9.4倍。同时，曾有中风病史的年长者，患有失智症的几率也比未中风者高出6.5倍。
